hacked my sons phat psp while back now other son has psp slim last 3 didgits ser no 803 date code 8c tried to hack it the same as phat with magic memory card == pandora battery but with no success pleeeeeeze help my son is driving me mad he wants all tthe new games on mem card like his bro worst thing is my 3rd son is getting a new psp 3000 off his granma for xmas i know ill have no chance with tht but hopfully you can help me with the slim 2003 many thanks

there is a 60 percent chance that there is no permenant hack for this, look at the first numbers in the seriel are they HU? if so i wouldnt try it. the risk is greater than the reward. sell it on ebay they are selling for about 150 dollars if you offer accesseries.

thanks first 2 are HB ? just tried psp grader to make mem card and it failed at about 70%

did you hold down the left trigger button while inserting the battery? also make sure the pandora is charged up, and do not have the ac cable or usb connected while inserting the pandora.

yes did all that just wondering if it could be this "fake" memory card goig to try it with an original sandisk 1 gb card could it be that i,m using "phat" pandora battery ?????

battery should be fine yes try a different card. sandisk would be better. recommended nothing over 4gig

altough your serial is listed as hackable, i just looked up your date code, and it is listed as very high chance that it is unhackable. so if the sandisk does not work, you may be out of luck at present. i would also suggest that you make sure that your pandora has a good charge and that you do not have the usb or ac cable plugged in when you try it.

you should go here and download this app, it will tell you what kind of motherboard you have in your psp if its TA-088v3, i think you can run chicken on it from 5.03 ofw, it its higher than that i dont think there is much you can do at present date.

http://pspslimhacks.com/custom-firmware-enabler-3-60-released/ this is were you will have to start if you do have that motherboard. i have not done this, but if i understand correctly if you do a cold restart, it loses the information and will have to be installed again. do not quote me on that, but that is what i have heard.
