Ok so I have an old fat PSP and naturally everything works on it, goes well with it, and if it doesn't, I find a solution quickly.
However, my bud has a PSP-3004 (official firmware 4.2 I believe) and doesn't know anything about anything for that matter, but he'd like to play some games and so I thought about trying out, but since I didn't really pay attention to slims, I'm somewhat knew with them and I don't really know at what stage are the homebrews.
I noticed that you can...emulate..."something", I don't know what, with this "ChickenHEN" and "ChickenHEN R2" and GEN's A and B. I still didn't figure that out, but I did notice they require 5.03 or similar firmware, and NOT on PSP3000. However, this bud 'o mine used official updater to update it to 6.0. On a first conclusion, I thought he *ucked it, and later I heard you can't downgrade. I also heard you can now finally play iso/cso on PSP 3000, but I can't see any direct information, so I think it's a lie.
The questions would be...
A) Can you downgrade PSP 3004? (my guess is no)
B) Can you add custom firmware to PSP 3004? (my guess is no)
C) If the above are no, is there perhaps a rumor someone is trying to do something like that?
