Okay, I recently purchased modded/banned xbox 360. Everything is what I expected and I am very happy with my purchase. BUT, I was wondering if it is possible to download a xbox 360 theme on my PC and transfer it over to my xbox?? I would just really like to add some themes and obviously I cant as I do not have live. let me know if this is possible. I apologize in advance if this question has come up before.

Yes there are themes available that you can download and then transfer to your HDD. To transfer to HDD you will either need a HDD transfer kit or open up the case of the HDD and take it out, then connect the HDD to your PC and use Xplorer360 to transfer the data.

I said HDD way too many times. HDD...

I was thinking of going the opening up the HDD route... However I have a relatively old computer (2006) does this mean it wont have the SATA cords that are necessary to connect to my xbox.

If that question did not make sense then that should give you a little insight into how not tech savy I really am. :)

Any decent PC made in '06 should have SATA. They used to sell a XSATA that hooked it up via USB but I think it's called X-Port now. It's the easiest solution but not a free one.
