Hi all I've been out of the modding game for a while

I have the wiikey fusion preordered but it doesnt look like I'll have it for xmas. Does anyone know if I softmod a wii is it ok to install a hardmod later. id love to play my old backups over the hols.

Would have been smarter to invest in a USB HDD rather then a modchip. Then just softmod and run your games from the USB HDD device.

In any case follow the guide in my sig if you want to softmod your Wii.

quick one for anyone who can help re 4.1 softmod install

do i have to do step HBC 1.0.3 & BOOTMII INSTALL if i have homebrew channel install already to play n64 and snes roms?

is it better to uninstall and do exactly as step by step in instructions?

Also if I softmod my wii will it effect the modchip i get when it arrives?
