im on psp 1000 fat 5.00 m33-4 (yes i know theres 5.00 m33-6) and i was wondering whether i should update to GEN to play the newer games as even with the patchers some games still can't run

so what are the benefits and cons of updating (and if theres another custom firmware i should change to)
