I hope C4E never releases LT or charges an arm and a leg for it. I originally had a Liteon drive when I got my 360 and quickly replaced it with a BenQ. I installed the 1.41 firmware (non-stealth, 12x) onto it and can play wave 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 games with no need for a lame activation.iso disc. I can't figure out why C4E didn't just take the Liteon 1.6 fw and quickly patch it for non-stealth play. The upside to him never releasing LT is that I'm making some NICE money modding 360's by moving people over to BenQ drives and giving them the 1.41 non-stealth firmware. These people, along with me, have no intentions of ever going back on XBL so we don't care about stealth. Keep delaying LT C4E and the gang, I'm making money hand over fist myself with BenQ drives and 1.41! :)
I partially agree with this statement. The statement is absolutely complete B.S. Whatever the reasons behind the delay I'm sure media settings have been handled for some time.
However, I don't mind waiting forever since if it is released it was through his generous contribution to the community and not an obligation. I think people tend to forget that the coders' hard work and their giving away of their findings/software are a privilege to us all. Sorry, I must sound like a broken record but it blows me away how people approach this as if they are owed something when that haven't done anything but whine, complain, and attack the Hand that feeds.

I think everyone appreciates his work but we have been hearing it's been complete for a couple weeks now. Then with all the infighting it's not too surprising that people want to know what's going on. Serious accusations have been made against him by people of his own team and he cant take a few minutes to put all the rumors to rest? Or give some kind of status update even? That'd put a stop to a lot of the whining and complaining. If he misses the ETA, so what, shit happens...people just want to know whether it's still being developed or not
it crossed my mind that maybe they are holding out for a christmas release lol...which would kinda annoy me since i dont celebrate it but as long as it gets here ill be happy

Your rant strikes me as that you simply want a delay for $$$. Mind explaining, other than that reason, why it should be hidden from everyone?
And in case you haven't read, the LT firmware does NO more stealth checking. Proper stealth patching is an absolute must now.
