I saw this new indexing setting and disabled it soo now u can not see my info once again without me adding you and u can not see the info by searching

When they did all this, it seems to have resurected an account I killed years ago...my profile and pictures are gone, but they still have a bunch of personal info on there. I didn't even know about it untill I got an email saying that one of my old friends wanted me to add him (there are several good reasons why I stopped being his friend). I closed the account again...but for how long?

I got this notice pop-up in face book on the privacy page.

"Worried about search engines? Your information is safe.
There have been misleading rumors recently about Facebook indexing all your information on Google. This is not true. Facebook created public search listings in 2007 to enable people to search for your name and see a link to your Facebook profile. They will still only see a basic set of information."

And yet the information about you is still easily obtainable by anyone with a computer. :p 5 minutes with Google and someone could get to you.
