I recently downloaded assasins creed 2 (RF version) and all my xbox 360 system is compatible with the specs. When I opened the file there were many .rar files so I opened one of them (all of them looked to have the same things) and checked the .iso with ABGX. ABGX patched the file (or autofix) and it said it passes everything. I then took that same .iso (that was on my desktop to begin with, even after ABGX checked it) and I burned it onto a dual layer verbatim disk with image burn at 2.4x speed. However, when I put the disk into my xbox, it said that it was a mixed media disk and not a 360 game. Yes my 360 is modded with the newest ixtreme (dont know which one I just know it was newest because that is what person told me when he modded it), and yes I am using a one shot boot disk. I was wondering what am I doing wrong. Does ABGX create a seperate ISO when it patches the game? Was their an extra option I had to configure on Image burn (all i did was press 2.4x speed, select the file, and burn), or was I supposed to highlight all of the .rars and extract them even thought hey all had the same file. I would really be glad for some input on this problem.

Of course it is.... it's not a PC or a PC game, 360 games are released to work with a standard 360 system.

You know you have the latest firmware on your xbox yet you don't know what version ?
When was it "modded" or flashed to be more precise.
By this "person" that "told" you it was the latest version.

If you are on the latest version firmware, you don't need the "bootdisc"

Nope.
Sounds like you have an older version of firmware on your 360.
i had this problem with the newer games, wave 4, when i was on 1.51 but after flashing my 360 to 1.61 they all worked fine.
sicdude when you say extract the rars do u mean all of them? Also I thought ABGX only worked with .iso not .dvd. noahtuck, I know it is not a PC game, when did that 1.61 firm ware come out (i got my 360 modded with the newst version of ixtreme during the week of thanksgiving), and this may or may not solve the misunderstanding, but I have a lite-on drive, and a couple other wave 4 games that work most of the time without the boot disk (only on certain occasions do they not work without the boot disk).

when you extract the .iso and .dvd files from the rars it extracts from all of them. ABGX does work with the iso file (and needs to be able to write to them so you DO need to have them extracted). The .dvd file is what you use with your burner program (because it's what tells the burner how to use both layers on the DVD properly)

When you extract the first rar the rest should unrar with it, you don't have to unrar them one by one.
Once they're unrar'd and you've ran them through abgx360 open imgburn/clone cd, select burn img to disc and browse to the .dvd file and select the .dvd file NOT THE ISO and burn at 2.4x.

No need to do this as it can mess up any other burns you may want to use the programme for (non xbox360 iso's), as long as you select the .dvd file the layerbreak will be set.
