okay my ps3 died and i need to send it in to get a new one.
so i backed it up, but games like dbz:rb and smackdown vs raw 2010 wont let u copy there game saves (paint tool etc)
so could i copy them through the lan method(from the 3.15 update? )

That would be the only way OR you could try this undocumented glitch option that I have not tested yet ~

- go to new ps3, create tester1 (must be different from all account names on original ps3). - Then use it to restore.

easy as pie. I have personally done it 3 times. 1 swapped ps3 from Sony, one sold and bought a new one, one was a friend's he swapped it for a Sony one.
You will have to re download all PSN games, game patches... But your videos, music and all saves and themes, settings, even account icons will be intact.
