can not dump games onto pc from wii drive?

hi, even though i (think) my drive can not read dvdr... i have a large amount of games on dvdr and wanted them onto pc then i would put them onto a external usb hard drive..

i tried dumping a game through wireless and even though it can not read dvdr it still starts dumping.. which i don't really know why lol.. BUT the problem is no matter what game it stop at 386mb and says completed, i have used different browers and still nothin helps..

is there a way i could read the wii dvd in a pc?? it doesn't show up in mine and someone said it has to be lg drive..

The DVD dumper is only for original games. If your games are already backed up on DVD then you don't need a special drive. Just put the disk in your computer's DVD drive, any drive will do, and rip them with imgburn on read mode.

Depending on the speed of your DVD drive it will take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.

a very big thank you... i have just managed to get my first backup game onto the pc.... now i can start doing the rest and get them ready to put onto a hard drive

Can someone point this noob to the most up to date method of dumping using the wii with 4.2. I've googled everywhere but everything seems out of date.
