it has something to do with the cells that produce your hair aging and dying. i don't remember the technical stuff. but i do know stress speeds the process up, just like it does with heart attacks and ulcers.

meh...had my first gray hair when i was 13 or 14, but i'm still not too worried. it's the hair that will be falling out that bothers me.

I'd like to have a little more hair of any color. Grey, blond, black, red or brown. That's why they make hair dye. Anything beats this flesh color that I'm seeing more of all the time.

Yeah, I posted the picture from my driver's license and I've seen your hair, Auslander. I think my driver's license probably was the best picture I had. It's also 2 or 3 years old and I'm slightly younger in it. Neph, I wonder if you can get that spray paint in chrome. I've always wanted a chrome dome.

... Men inherit their genetic tendency for baldness from their mother's father ... my maternal grandfather still had a full head of hair when he died in his early 90s ... The heck with inheriting his hair, I want his longevity!
By the way ... I still have a full head of grey hair at 50 ...

Hey, get buff and shave your head completely. That's a totally hot look. I think women don't really care that much (about male baldness). Speaking from experience, I'm a woman and completely shaved my head in my early 30's. I kept it that way for about a year. I totally get the vulnerable feeling of having no hair, but loved the feeling when I was working out - built in central air. As for dating? My goodness, no lack of dates due to lack of hair...LOL!!! As for work? Had to grow it back so that my clients would hire me...c'est la vie. But it's still short. Obviously, I'm not dating men who have long hair issues re: women. Ha!
