Here's the question, I have a Banned 360 elite, And I plan to buy a Arcade to play online and put my HDD in the new arcade when i want to play online and put it in my Elite when i don't play online, I wanted to know if my "legit" arcade is 100% safe from banning

Thank you

Unless you uncripple the banned xbox your gamertag will not work on a legit console.

I am wondering about this too. I don't want to uncripple my HDD cause I don't know how.

A profile is corrupted every time it's logs in on a banned console along with any new saves for that profile. If you designate a profile for use just on the banned console then you'll be fine. Otherwise you would have to un-corrupt the profile each time you swapped.

So you won't get banned for trasnferring an HDD between a banned and unbanned console? For example, I have Forza 3 for my banned which requires the second disc to be installed, will that data be corrupt each time? I just want to make sure my new console won't be banned. And I use a separate profile for my banned, its stored on a memory card right now

I dont know about you guys but I can still play on my banned console with the hard drive and swap between banned and non banned without my profile being corrupted. If I try to connect with banned consel then i get corrupted profile as soon as I get message but if you have access to a memory unit you can uncorrupt the profile. I had to do that tried online with wrong console. Now that one has big black X on it. Can anyone else swap hard drive between banned and none banned with no prob?

They won't ban a non modded console even if it has a HDD that was on a banned console.

Okay, thank you. If I install content from a disc on a banned console (i.e second disk for Forza 3), will that be corrupt on a unbanned console?

Not sure, maybe. Regardless, you may only be able to access it with the profile that originally saved it to the hard drive.
