I bought an xbox off a guy ebay, he claimed the xbox 360 had a faulty drive, I took it apart, the x clamp was already fixed. But I found out the dvd drive had no firmware on it.
The guys ignoring my calls, he probably did a bad flash. I doubt I can get it back through paypal, because he would just yelp he didnt know or something.
So I understand that the dvd drive is linked with a key to the motherboard, but is there a way with a modchip that you can over ride this at all?
Or is it really the end of the xbox 360 life from here?
i dont think a chip will help you. however, you could possibly get the dvd drive key via the infectus chip. but doing this would be more pain and money that could be spend on a new console on ebay. i would just resell this one, state whats wrong with it. someone will still buy it more than likely.
