Hi all ive searched the forums and i cant find the anything on the problem i have....
Right, ive had it flashed an works fine at my mates and it works fine at liverpool finds 210 channels and 41 transponders and updated codes fine..
ive brought it home to burnley and rescaned it, its found 31 transponders and 138 channels, but saying no signal, the green lock light comes on then gos off with no picture or sound. I've put the virgins (samsung) box back in and it works fine, we only have basic channels but it picks them up fine.
i got the virgin box engineer menu up it says found 31 transponders 210 channels and signal was good. so why is my box flashing no signal?
also any ideas on the codes for ntl in burnley area ?

firstly, no codes allowed on the site,
you need to re-scan the box as what works in liverpool wont work in burnley.
Burnleys area ID is Burnley -Lancs N*l/EX C&W, 41048 666750 6887
So you choose provider ntl and 6887 as your scanning.

soz for asking for codes, I've done a power scan from 100mhz to 850mhz on 6887 and it hasn't picked any transponders up so done the same on 6952 and it picked up 31 transponders and the virgin box says its using 666.750mhz an 6952mb rate when i access the engineer menu, am i doing something wrong?

well if yer vm box is saying thats all the transponders and yer euro has found the same, then I would reckon something has changed, as the ex Ntl areas were 6887, but if yer vm box is saying its 6952, then thats what I would scan on.
If yer VM box is finding the same amount ohans as yer euro, then thats all you will get.

this is doing my head in now, found 13 transponders on 6952 but wont find any channels now ffffs ! done a manual scan on the same freq as my vm box an still no channels an if it dos pic channel up it flashes signal on an then no signal is it my box ? also taken spliter out to scan still nowt grrrrrrrrrrrr

Facotory reset, scan on 6952 - Freq 100 to 850 this is TW/CW if no joy
Facotory reset, scan on 6887 - freq 100 to 850 this is Ntl
Dont powerscan, do a full scan. it will take time
Remove any splitters, scan from the source coming in.

its defo 6952 it picks nothink up on 6887, what step should it be on ? the manual scans wont come on it only comes on to scan with the power scan? is there another menu?

hey all, right burnley is defo a 6952 mb rate, ive tryed the box less than a mile away from home and it picks every channel up fine an signal is locked on the box mint, so why dose my v.m. box work at home with 8 basic channels an my vox red dosnt any1 else having this problem? help guys its not the scan rate or anythink am doing wrong its got latest flash channel cdf on it is vm using a diff system it works fine down the road grrrrrrrr
