Hey guys.

I have downloaded games from a torrent website you have to subscribe to and when I download the games, it is in .iso format after I extract it.
I burned one game onto a DVD-R and it was successful, however, when I insert it into my Wii, it says that it is unable to read it.
I wanted to see the content of the .iso file, so I mounted it and when I mount it on my computer, it shows as an Audio CD and when I open it, there is an .aiff file that is like 4 GB in size.
Did I download a "fake" file or is that how Wii games are suppose to be?
I downloaded a few more Wii games and mounted them all before burning and they all appear to be Audio CDs.
What should I do? Have any of you guys had this happen before?

You can't just burn a disc and have it play in the Wii. You have to mod it in some way.

There are softmodding guides in my sig. Or you can buy a Modchip that is installed inside the Wii itself to play backup games.

Ok. Thnx. I thought you could play a burned games on a new Wii without modifying it.

So then, the games I downloaded will work on modified Wiis even thought when I mount them on my computer, the games show up as Audio CDs and the file inside the .iso is a huge .aiff audio file?

Where are the Wii games?

I was mounting them on my Mac because I wanted to see the contents of the .iso file.

I ment the game you are mounting is a Wii game but there is no need to mount them.
