Hi, I'm looking to hook up my xbox to my computer monitor.

My monitor only has 1 input which is hdmi and no speakers on it, and I was just wondering how I could do it.

on my pc I have lots of extra audio ports, some of which are audio out.

I meant on the monitor. If it has an hdmi input but does not have speakers it might have an audio output (perhaps a headphone jack).

If it doesn't you'll probably need to buy a hub or cable of some sort to access the audio...

nope, no audio things on my monitor, my monitors actually dvi but I'm going through an hdmi switch.

What type of Xbox do you have? My elite came with an audio cable that is small enough to connect where normal a/v cable goes when the hdmi cable is plugged in.

I don't think all consoles come with them though...
