I have this issue where whenever my PS3 is set to 1080p, every 5 or 10 seconds the audio will cut out for about a second. When I set it to 1080i or play a game which runs at 720p everything works perfectly. I have a Sony Bravia TV so I'm not sure what the problem could be. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Sounds like the hdmi cable to me. 1080p uses twice the bandwidth of 1080i and your cable is not keeping up. Get a better cable.
