Hey, I have the old Kreon (Pioneer) drive and I know it's no longer any good. However, I can't for the life of me find a good thread on how to rip games with the new encryption. Also, I have read you can get the Benq drive off of Ebay to read games so I am wondering which version to get?

Also, what program will take the place of the Kreon?

I am more than happy to read a ton but please give me a start as there doesn't seem to be any stickies on this.

Thanks a bunch!

Basically the Kreons won't read the SSv2 correctly. So the only thing you need to change, is the drive. Use an Xbox 360 drive (with iXtreme 1.6/1.61) to rip. But continue to use Xbox Backup Creator.

Thanks eebeejay...just one other thing. Can you recommend a good drive off of Ebay? I'll start looking but was just curious. Also, I remember having to flash the Pinoeer drive when I first got it...will I have to do this again?

Doesn't sound that complicated.

Thanks for responding!

Any xbox 360 drive, but I'd recommend one of these BenQ drives.

Yes, it'll have to be flashed the same way your drive in your modded 360 was flashed.

Thanks Man! I appreciate it! I'll need to do some reading as I totally forget how I flashed my Pioneer!

Thanks again!

* Get a BenQ or use the drive already in your 360.
* Get a compatilbe sata card to flash that drive.
* Use JungleFlasher to flash the BenQ with iXtreme 1.6 or 1.61 firmware.
* Use Xbox Backup Creator to rip.
* Use ABGX360 to check your ripped ISO.
* Use ImgBurn to burn the game.
* Use your Xbox 360 to play the game.
* Use your wireless controller to manipulate the in-game actions.
* Use a TV (preferably hi-def) to see the game as you're playing it.
* And use this forum if you have anymore questions.

* * * By the way, I hate to be used.
