I have a brand new Wii with the new Boot 1, I have installed HBC, DVDX, and Bootmii as an IOS. I also have Gx Usb Loader running perfectly, even NSMB. I want to buy a usb hard drive, but I want to know which ones seem to work best. I have heard that I should try a Seagate, WD, or Passport. Can anyone recommend good and/or cheap ones.

hi, i just got a 500gb wd passport usb for my kids wii... it is perfect... i choose this model as i already have one for movies and would recommend it..

The WD Passport is probably the most popular and highly recommended.

Seagates are a little touchier, Alot of people report problems using them.

Most models are fine though. I use a 60 gig Fujitsu I pulled out of a broken laptop and stuck in a $6 off-brand external enclosure and it works great.
