Here is the tutorial for dumping the LiteOn firwmare

Once you have obtained your DVD key, you will need to spoof it to iX 1.6 non-stealth 93450C firmware and flash. It is not recommended to go on Live with that firmware.

The picture is the backside of the PCB board in the LiteOn drive. At the moment, there is no solderless way to obtain the DVDkey. You must solder the switch to allow you to dump the firmware.

You connect the wires, resistor & switch where the diagram tells you.

Here is the NEAR solder less patch i made for the Liteon drives. You still have to cut the traces of course and reconnect with solder after you dump the firmware but this cuts the soldering down to a minimum. The three wires that are soldered together on the patch go to pin holes on the circuit board. one point sets on the pin hole on the trace line before pin 101 spot the second sets after it to reconnect the line after the trace has been cut. the third is the bottom connection. The wire all by itself connects to pin 101. You can add a ground connection if you want just pick any ground pin hole and run a wire from it on the patch. I used syntaxerror329 picture of the circuit board to show where the pins on the patch go because i didnt have a clean board to take pics of i hope that was ok.
