wii 4.0u mod wont play backup games.

i modded y 4.0 wii console using the forum here on how to softmod 4.1 and lower. now when i go to hbc channel it loads game and reads title. than it gives an errorr message that the game should be ejctd and i should check my owneers manual for info.

You need to install a app called "Backup Launcher 0.3 gamma". Extract the "Backup_Launcher" and "cIOS_Installer" folders under the "apps" directory on your sd card (or flash drive). run the cIOS Installer requires wi-fi (or the appropriate files on sd card) first and then run Backup Launcher in the Homebrew Channel and run the game. Let me know what happens and good luck! (atleast this is my understanding of how it works?? please correct me if im wrong)

Don't use Backup Launcher 0.3 gamma that is outdated.

But it seems you have already used my guide to softmod.

Are you using neoGamma to load the game? or the normal disc channel? You need to use the neoGamma Loader to play the game backups.

If you are using NeoGamma then you might have one of the new drives that will not play backup disc. if this is the case you will need to use a USB loader to play your backups. I have a CFG USB Loader guide in my sig.

i am using neo gamma to load games and it puts up title of game when i open neo gamma and than when i press play it tells me there is disc error to remove disk and refer to ownerss manual for troubleshooting. the console was just purchased , is there anyway to tell if it is a new one that wont play the back up disks? thanks for replies they are aprreciated. when i installed i got no errors and everything said success as i did each step of install of soft mod.

More then likely if you installed everything properly then it is 1 of those new drives. What is the exact error your getting?

If this is the case you will need to use a USB Loader. I have a CFG USB Loader guide in my sig.

an error has ocurred please press eject button remove game disk turn off power please read the wii operation manual for more information
