I have a backed up version of assasins creed 2 which I'm trying to play. As its wave 4 I have to update The dashboard.

But I just can't do it. I've tried the USB it doesn't ask me If I want to upgrade, I burned a cd which it reads as mixed data but when I reset it still won't ask me to upgrade. I've been banned of live so going onlines not an option.

Anyone had his problem?

from what I know (never had to do this myself), if you have a burnt copy of AC2 that is unpatched as in you havent altered the .iso so it can run on IX FW that doesnt support wave 4, it should ask you to update when you put it in.
The update is on the disc, hence the wave 4.

Ok got it to work, the USB wasn't fat32. But I have no clue why the cd didn't work. Oh well.
