I've been asked to update the console firmware to the newest available it was previously soft modded, how do you update an xbox firmware on a softmodded console, what info do any of you need to give me the best advice? i can't find what firmware version it is on how do i do that lol. thankyou all

You need to post more information. What drive? current firmware? Do you have a 6421 via card?

console has never been taken apart, don't know how to find xbox firmware version like wii, ds, psp i guess but i can't find it, Do you have a 6421 via card? might have don't know what that is.
