wanna buy hardrive from newegg and install been reading for hours on here..

thought there was a post in ultimate sticky to softmod my 360 and for the hardrive neither are there and search brings me two hdd upgrades with softmodded 360


I would like to know if i can buy any sata hdd for the 360 and can i go higher than 120g?

250 is the biggest. You need experience in flashing the drive as well with the correct bin for the drive. You can't just pop in in the housing. The flash is pretty simple. Then you can use xplorer360 to transfer the data.

Yes i definetly understand that i need to flash it and that i need files from the origianl drive? and from some of the older posts in here the xbox only supports 120g hence me asking if i can go up to 250g

could you point me to a good tutorial

from what i read earlier that xplorer 360 actually can corrupt data some times so i doubt doint this will fix your issues...
