xbox not reading mp4 file, why?

I put two mp4 files on a dvd-r

one works perfect and one has the red circle and will not play

when I click it it says unsupported format......why?

i used TVersity and got the error code

In the options section of TVersity there is a tick box called, "transcode everything". Make sure that is ticked.

Im unsure why the MP4 on the DVD didnt work though.

yea i tried transcode everything but it wouldnt transcode...it was 5 ch audio causing the problem

pff.. what kind of home entertainment system doesnt support 5 channel audio. I had this problem a while back before i read that the xbox doesnt support 5ch audio.

Ive hated this since day one.. they really need to release some support for good quality media files.
