i was looking on the internet and saw lots of xbox 360 case mods. i personally like the ones with the black case with window on the side and blue leds. but i dont really see how to take the white case off and put the others on. i looked at mine quizzically for hours trying to figure it out. i mean, i got the faceplate off after a very tough battle, resulting in my finger tip having a gash. i really dont see how it is possible to take it off. thanks in advance!!!

Eh i ment the mod, it seemed to describe my elite perfeclty. I wouldn't bother for just taking the case off.....don't be retarded

Use common sense, gameover is always negative almost every post and people are starting to figure it out.
The OP has a decent thread title and is having problems opening a 360. Even though the information he's looking for is right under his nose he doesn't need to be mocked for it. I offer to help the OP and get a email saying someone has responded to my post. What do i find? A response that mocks the OP and doesn't contribute anything to the thread.
Seriously some people on this site are really acting childish. Every other post is someone mocking someone else. I admit even i've taken part in it a few times, but it really needs to stop. If you don't have something to contribute then don't post, plain and simple. It's even in the forum rules and seems to be overlooked quite often. Treat this place as if you were in a corporate workplace, would you really tell someone asking you for help that they fail? God that's helpful.

No offence intended but it seems like you are from your post, I cannot see he's even replied to this thread so why is it relevent? I'm gussing youve got your threads mixed up here.
gameover9 has came back after his ban, apologised for his harshness and explained reasons why (valid or not). Since then, ive seen nothing but niceness :D

Alright then let's keep it that way, replying FAIL to a thread doesn't help anyone. I'm not mixed up here, just for some odd reason it really pissed me off to see a FAIL pic in a thread that didn't deserve one.

It is an epic epic fail though. If person in question has searched how to open a 360 case ie watched the videos/followed the tutorials, What more are we supposed to do for him? Unless he was looking for someone to do it?
Not so much derogatory, wel okay it was a little bit but meh ;-)
There is tons of vids on youtube, id suggest looking there and if you still cant do it then perhaps find another hobby.

Petries even googled it for him, and the first link was a YouTube video, very clearly explaining AND SHOWING, step-by-step, how to remove the case. Also, 3 of the next 4 links show/tell how to do it with video/picture/and or text tutorials.

this was my first post, i will not be as formal next time, and everyone of you that said i fail, you fail at having a life and thanks to those who werent total jerks. though i really, honestly dont see how a thread can fail. guessswho fails in a way you cant explain, and when you think about it,those who take his side in this (argument), your lives are so insignificantly sad, its actually funny to read what you post! hahahaha, smack!!!

LOL how is google not helpful??? There's hundreds of tutorials on what you are asking to do. Also, if you cannot remove the faceplate without cutting yourself then you do deserve a fail pic.
