ok since jungleflasher has the new 64 bit update i wanted to try it on my laptop,installed everything alright now here is the thing,JF wont pick up the drive at all,i have esata to sata connected it,but the pc does read the dvd rom as a drive F,anyone got a solution to this,i tried dos flash and wont even pick it up neither,im on the new alienware mx17 laptop

get a via pcmia card and it will work.

don't think there is a via6421 expresscard. only in the original pcmcia cardbus pc card.

ouch thanks for the link,i just ordered one on ebay with a usb adapter i was reading that it does work,but it not i will use my sony viao laptop instead of the alienware,thanks guys for your help

SEVENTY-TWO BUCKS?!?!?! These are MUCH cheaper. (under $20)
I know this one works. A friend of mine has it. Overseas in the UK though.
Fry's has another one which is supposed to be identical spec-wise to the other one. So it'll probably work.

and those are the wrong size. he needs the 54mm not the regular pcmia cards.
