Ok, so I have not had much time to read up on this, so I wanted to ask a quick question.
I know it is not possible to downgrade the kernel to an exploitable one at this point. But is it possible to boot an alternate kernel using a modchip like Cygnos?
I don't have any idea about how any of this works because I don't do any of it lol, so don't rip on me too hard.

I believe the problem you'd have is not being able to get your keyvault. Once you've updated to the latest dash you've blown all the efuses. Thus rendering the jtag hack useless. And you need that to get the kv.
So you could still use a chip to dual boot a nand, but without the kv the modded nand won't be any good.
Right, so you wouldn't have to wire up the jtag separately. But either way, if the jtag hack is rendered useless (new dash) it wouldn't matter is you use a chip or wire the jtag on your own... the jtag hack is still useless.
If the chip did work with the new dashboard, news of it would be all over the place.
