Cheats for Backups?

Ok I ve researched alot regarding this. someone said you can neogamma7 and usb loader gx. another forum said you can use it only on official wii games and not backups.

My questions are:

Are cheat codes possible to play with on backup games for the wii??
If so, what application do I use?

I've used cheats just fine on my backup games. I predominately run USB Loader Gx and download the cheat codes for individual games right from it and load them with the built in Ocarina.

I've occasionally encountered an error while doing this, but most games have ran correctly with ocarina turned on and running the game cheats. So yes cheats do work on game backups.

It is relatively simple. You can use Neogamma. Under Config Options make sure Ocarina is turned on. Hooktype needs to be set to VIB. Cheat codes (.GCT format) are stored in a folder named codes which is placed directly on the root of the SD card.

Use this version. Just drop the Neogamma folder in the apps folder in your SD card.
