It has recently come to my attention that there is a way to uncorrupt profiles and gamesaves so you can still attain achievements on a banned 360 then transfer them to the unbanned 360. Guide here
Here are my questions:
1. First and foremost, I got a new elite system recently. I wanted to make sure that by using the elite's 120 gbhd on the banned console wouldn't ruin it in any way, that it wouldn't block the installation of games. I know banned consoles flag profiles and gamesaves opened, I'm not sure if it would somehow adversely affect the hd.
2. I have 1 main profile that has xbl gold and my achievements. Would it be possible to have that same profile on my non banned console so I could play xbl with it, while at the same time have the same profile on my banned console to get achievements. Then when I was ready, I could delete the profile from the unbanned console, remove the flags, and put the profile I got achievements with onto my unbanned console?
I was thinking that with the transfer kit, I could get the profile onto my pc and copy it then put it on both hard drives, that way I could get achievements but still be able to play modern warfare 2 when I wanted. I don't think I could simply switch my profile to the banned console then recover, because when I brought the profile back to the unbanned console I think it would say it's invalid, so I thought maybe copying the file would work...
I think that's all my questions for the moment, it's kind of complicated, but at this point I won't have a transfer cable for a couple weeks and it's important to me. Hopefully someone has or can try this out.
