Trying to use DVDDumper for USB, and it won't work. I plug in my Sandisk 2Gig Cruiser and get an error. However, the WiFi method works as long as I am using Firefox as my browser.
If I cannot get the thumb drive to work, is there a risk in me going out to buy a usb external hard drive? I will be using this guide to set it up: http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-154/..._needed-822897/
Also, what is Ghecko usb A and B? Different from the SD, USB option?
With the programs to softmod the wii installed on the SD card, does the SD card have to stay in the Wii now? I am using a 2 gig card, and I see people posting that they dump games to the SD card. Am I missing something? If so, where?
Ok first DVD dumper is only good for backing up games over wifi but this is only when you don't have somewere ells to dump it to that is big enuff to fit. Because it dosent work the other way.
The geko sd a and b is a game cube memorycard that has a sd card inside and you can put gamecube saves inside.
If you aré going to buy a hard drive to play Wii games from it you need at least an 8gb flash or a 250gb hardrive if they istill make those becase when I went to best buy and target they only had that 320gb.
Then you need to format it to WBFS, to do this you need the WBFS manager 3.0 or newer. And I recomend the USB loader GX to play and install games from and to your hard drive or flash drive. Look it up on YouTube so you can see what it looks like.
