Yo! :)
I use a lil tool called "USButil 2.0". It's made by a spanish dude, so the english is kinda bad. But you can grab it here: http://sksapps.com/hd/USBUtil_v200_full_en.rar and a tutorial here: http://sksapps.com/hd/USBUtil_20_Tut.zip ... But the tutorial is pretty much mumbo jumbo to me since the grammar and such is HORRIBLE. *lol*
Then burn the "USBAdvance" bin/cue files from THIS file: http://sksapps.com/hd/USBAdvance.rar to a CD, boot up from that, and insert your USB drive.
Before your PS2 will read from the USB drive tho, you'll have to format it using USButil, and put some games on there (using USButil as well).
If this seems confusing, or you need some further help, just let me know! I use this shit every day, hehe :)

Do you have any more information on how to get this to work? Those instructions really are hard to understand...

Yeah of course, I'll put together a "how-to" in (proper) english and post it in this thread, so anyone else with the same problem can find a solution here.
It'll be a few hours tho, as it's pretty late now :)
Is your PS2 chipped/modded by the way?

Nope. I'm assuming that that would be necessary? Lame.
My wife ordered me a Swap Magic tool for my slim PS2 for Christmas, but the company is apparently a big scam or something and it never arrived and they won't return our calls or emails. I've been looking for a way to play burned PS2 games without having to spend money.

yeah im not 100% sure that it has to be chipped/modded, but i would think so though.. To be able to read the booting CD that accesses the USB drive. If your PS2 is one of those top-loaded ones tho, I saw a guide on making ur own swapmagic thingy somewhere.. I'll see if i can find it if that's the case?
