Is it worth it to risk formatting my Wii?

I been having some trouble with softmod wii, and im thinking it may be because Ive installed certain things multiple times and im at the point where i want to start a clean slate and do everything correctly this time.

NO just dont !
Maybe its not a good idea, it can cause problems and leave things that may harm. It all dpends on what stuff you installed, to get you started get reading on this softmod removal: (not sure how current it is)

well the only things Ive installed are usb loader gx, configurable usb loader. the 4.2 softmod pack and ive repeated the process on certain steps multiple times.

i will try redoing the softmod installation and configurable loader and hopefully if i can get a good file of nsmbw to run without crashing my wii when i exit than i will be happy (as long as the rest of the games work too)

i really hope I can get over all of this and finally start having fun with my wii
