I've been reading a lot of topics and info considering my 360 which will be modded tomorrow with Lite-On 1.61 firmware. As far as I found out, depending on which firmware you have, games need to be patched to the corresponding Wave version which is compatible on your firmware version.
Now if I'm right: on 1.61 firmware, I DO NOT have to patch games except for Wave 5 games (L4D2 e.g.), which I should patch back to Wave 4 as they are compatible with my 1.16, even without using the activation iso.
As far as I understood the ABGX360 application can be used for checking whether the ISO is stealth (online play?) and to verify the image (as in: this 1 is a good image, it should work since the rip is equal to its original copy).
Now I will not go on XBOX LIVE as I think you should not (be able to) play online with modded consoles. That having said: is it correct that the only reason for me to use ABGX360 is to verify if my rip is valid?

Yes.
So I downloaded a Wave 3 version of Modern Warfare 2, which should be playable on my 1.61 Lite-On. Now i check this iso with ABGX 1.0.2 and it says:
a) PFI is incorrect based on the date this game was authored (should have been Wave 4). This is correct since it was patched for usage on a 1.51 firmware.
b) Video partition PFI is incorrect based on the date this game was authored (should have been Wave 4)
c) Stealth Check failed
So what do I do now? The guy claims it works on 1.51 so it should work on my 1.61 too since that is compatible with Wave 3 too. I turned autofix off in ABGX, should I have the program fix the a/b/c errors or can I just burn and play offline?
why download a game converted to wave when you're console is able to play wave 4, just get a proper rip of it, also even though l4d2 is a wave 5 game 1.61 can still play it without patching the iso.

That is since I was not able to find a MW2 version that had Language English written in the info file. I dont want to end up burning 3 versions before I am sure to have an English one...
That is why I asked if the to-wave3-patched-version of MW2 should boot? I guess it will but rather ask you guys before wasting a DVD.
just find one that says Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 USA RF-XBOX360-RRoD or Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2-XBOX360-DAGGER, the one converted to wave 3 should work but don't quote me on that lol.

Thx m8, ill download a DAGGER version then :)
Is there any way in which I could see if a game works/not works using ABGX to check the .iso?? Which checks definately have to be green?
