I always thought it was 2GB.

Can a larger one be used and if so is there a size limit?

I use a SanDisk 8GB SDHC. However Nintendo has said that you can go up to 32GB.

It used to be 2gigs max. One of the firmware patches (4.0 I think) added support for SDHC cards up to 32gig.
