Wii USB Loader And Backing up from PC to WII

Hi There,

I have been bought a WII for christmas managed to backup all my games I've been purchased onto Hardisk and transfer them all on the WII with the loaders etc with all your help (Thanks) I do have a couple of questions and I don't think they are covered so I thought I would register and see if you could shed some light.

1)Transferring and WBFS file from a PC Hardisk over to the WII via WIFI is it possible? At the moment I've been backing up my games and putting them on an SD card then using WIXPLORE to transfer them to the loader which seems to take 2hours+ is there a quicker way and simple guide like a noob could follow like me??

2) I was going to purchase a USB 1.8 HDD drive 30GB and then transfer them over using wii explore to my main hardisk which I have the loader configured with my backups on would one suggest if this is a quicker way??

3) I have Windows 7 Home Premium so all help is appreciated it's been doing my head in and I don't want my kids scratching the discs so I've went the whole hog and bought the WII LG drive for the PC to backup.

How far apart is the Wii from your PC? I use a 6ft USB extension to transfer games from my PC to the USB HDD Drive. I have seen them up to 16ft.

If that isn't possible then I would bring your USB HDD to your PC and transfer them.

Using applications to transfer through Wii (SD/USB to USB) will probably have long transfer times no matter how you set it up.

Hi Larry,

-What speeds are you getting with the Extension Cable? Is it an A to A cable you using?
-the PC is in the other room so that might be a better option I'm getting about 353KBS transfers on the SD card straight in the WII do you think this may be quicker??

Thanks advance in your help. Would you happen to know if you can also change 3D covers on the WII channel of configurable loader.

Also can you setup Music in the Background and change the backgroud??
