hi
have a clone eurovox ex5000
wanting to put in room upstairs but when i connect 20m of cable only some channels are visible, alot of channels picture is breaking up
i am thinking of buying a new 20m cable with factory fitted f connecters, incase its the cable,
have tried an attenuater but made no difference
is it worth me trying a new cable?

you prob need a booster on your cable as its prob not strong enough your signal try connecting the box on it own to the main cable and then check it if it works its your signal not strong

or the other problem sometimes experienced (rf know how comes in here) isn't actually in the signal level as much as the swr/length of the cables combined.. sometimes chopping a foot off an extension cable makes all the difference.
