Error 1101 new drives still no disc hack?

I have a new wii. I've modded many and never seen this issue. I get the 1101 error cios rev 14 and R7 Neogamma. I take it the new drives still can't read discs? Do I need to go usb?

If it's a new wii, no hack yet for the new drives but just go USB hard drive. I think this is the best option. I have 8 games on my USB hard drive and they load faster then the actual originals plus you can backup originals direct to the USB hard drive in 10 minutes :)

I am sure there will be lots of talk if they ever find a way to load backup disc on the newer drives.

As of now a USB Loader is your best option if you have the new drive.

Then I need help, I have a 2.5 80GB Hard Drive, Format: FAT32. I use it to transfer files to PS3 & PC faster. Will that work too?

Look at the compatibility list.

If it isn't listed with a yes or no then all you can do is try it.
