Just wondering why all the wii torrent games are mainly in ISO format when u only have to use the WBFS part, and for me this is annoying as i use 4.7gb of my ISP DL limit and only needed 300mb of it which is the actual game.

Now i know that the 4.7gb is needed for a disc version of the game, but those loading from USB dont need all that useless data.

IS using the WBFS and USB only new and that is y there is no torrents for them out there?

Or am i not looking at the right spot?

Also how to instal WIIWARE games i dl one it said it was .zip but when i unzip there is no files inside it? game was frogger returns.

Because scrubbing and compressing a native .iso can take up to an hour or so and some people just don't want the bother.

"Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" is the operative term here.

"IS using the WBFS and USB only new and that is y there is no torrents for them out there? "

WBFS is designed to pre-scrub the .iso file for a more efficient use of disk space.

You can find most games scrubbed if you look hard enough.

Granted once they have been extracted they are 4.37GB again but it only takes a few minutes to convert them to WBFS files. But at least the scrubbed versions save on Bandwidth.

As to the WiiWare game you may need to just change the .zip to .wad for it to install properly. More then likely that is what they did in order to be able to upload the file.

yeah i have found a few scrubbed games, and even then u only need about half what u dl in WBFS.

I guess once more and more ppl start to use the USB loader way instead of the burn a disc way then we will start to see more out there.

I have looked and not found a single wii game to dl where its WBFS most are the full iso and the ones that are scrubbed are .rar and are usualy twice the size of what u need.

im not looking a gifthorse in the mouth, the main reason i did the soft mod was for the divx playback, and thoguht while i got it done ill have a look see for some games. and im not dl4.7gb for a game that only needs say 3-500mb at most.

now further more to the usb loader thingo.

the game rip side of it. Do u need a certain size USB stick HDD in there for it to work?

As i tried it with my 4gb USB in there and it just froze and i had to reset the wii.
