Hello. AfterDawn noob here. This my first post, but I've always looked to AfterDawn to solve any ripping question I may have and I've never been disappointed. Props on an awesome forum!
Anyway, I've recently had a problem with my dvd (vob) files playing chapters in the wrong order... This is a recent occurence when trying to rip using Magic DVD Ripper. I'm not burning these files to DVD, rather ripping them to a hdd for playback on my tv.
This problem occurs in about half the movies I've tried to rip lately using Magic DVD Ripper. The movie will start with the correct chapter, but then jump ahead to somewhere in the middle of the movie and so on...
What to do?
Can FixVTS help with this problem?
If not, then what's the best solution for fixing these files?
Thanks in advance to all who reply!

No I haven't tried DVD Fab on those particular discs...
The reason I used Magic DVD Ripper, is because I've found that it has a much much higher success rate when trying to rip those very difficult DVDs.
I do have DVD Fab 6.2.0.5 Platinum, but I never had anything but great experiences with Magic DVD Ripper, that is until recently...
I'm really looking for a solution to repair the files that are already messed up, or for any that may get jumbled in the future...

If DVDFab gets chapters in the wrong order (haven't experienced it myself) i believe you just turn pathplayer on.
As to your current ripper, that sounds like it's simply unable to (properly) cope with the encryptions, never even heard of that program..

I understand that, but these are movies that DVD Fab won't even open, or if it does, it won't make it all the way throuigh the rip (path-player or no path-player)...
As I said before, that's why I'm using Magic DVD Ripper, because it usually succeeds for me when others fail...
Anybody know if there's anyway to fix this problem after the files have been ripped?
