Is there anyway to keep a system from getting banned. I have yet to sign on and i know that i will be banned. Can it be stopped and is there anyway to get banned systems unbanned yet?

There is a way but it requires you to install a Infectus chip and change certain values on your xbox. Its not really worth it though as you need to get the other values from a non banned xbox (maybe a RROD one). The chip costs about £50 too and thats without fitting

@fudpucker - Whats with the sig? Everyone seems to be getting down about AfterDawn ATM, I still think its the best resouce available on the net.

Can you keep or get a hold of the original bios for the drive ? I dont flash my drive myself so I wouldnt know, but it could be an idea to flash to the original bios then update the console and flash back. People are playing online now with a modded console so it seems it just scans your console when you do the update....... just a theory.

your theory is wrong, once you play a backup on the console, either online or off, it is flagged and will be eventually banned.

To be fair, that is just a theory as well! The only thing we do know for certain, is the fact that we actually know sweet FA about how MS detects firmware mods!!!

xbox 360 flashing "enthusiast".
