xbox 360 hdd upgrade can be done on linux?

I been trying to upgrade my hdd but when I do my bootable cd and i try to open hddhackr.exe it tells me it cvant open bc i have 64bit, so im thinking of getting linux but idk much about it lol. I even try to get a xp boot but files always was missing. any idea what a person that have windows vista 64bit can do? I really want to upgrade to 250gb ; ;

I think your doing it wrong I did a hard drive updgrade with no experience on my own and its pretty simple after doing a little research and finding the right programs. Try using this tutorial that wabashman used to create his, its what I used to get mines working.

what windows you have and you have 32 or 64 bit? and what u use on ur usb to boot? ur windows or a older version?

I have windows 7 64 bit but that doesn't matter I can't remember exactly what program I used because I removed it cause I didn't use it again but I will try and find out for you because I tried a couple of them that didn't work for me either. But off head a few programs that I know that are used for creating a bootable usb is the hp usb boot utility, flashboot and UNetbootin which is what I think I used and worked for me, you just have to make sure that you choose freedos from the drop down list.
