Wii Mod - DriveKey - Burning a Back Up - Using an SD Card

I am interested in buying the DriveKey for My Brand New Wii (Bought on January 5th, 2010) from Amazon. I understand where to get it and how to install it.

My questions are will it work with the brand new Wii?
I have a Mac can I burn my Backups from it?
Or Can I put the files on an SD card and Transfer the games that way and play them straight from the SD card?

Basically, after I install the mod Chip what all has to be done to start playing Backup Games?

IF anyone has time to show me where a step by step guide for a moderately tech savvy person, that would be amazing. Thanks!

Also, I understand that there are guides on how to do some of these things, but they are all about three years old and my Wii is brand new.

Also I run on a Mac. I run Mac OS 10 Leopard. With a great DVD Burner.

Which means I could run Windows on it If i absolutely needed to, but is there a way around this? Or am I going to have to run windows and buy an external dvd burner?
