does anyone know if its safe to use the whisper max fans and the chameleon case together, as i dont no much bout this sort of thing and want to be sure i dont blow something as the case is expensive

I also have a wisper max 12V Fan and the twin V2 cooler and have had no problems with them. I am getting my 12V from under the motherboard on the PSU connector and not from the dvd drive. Not sure if this helps.
nah not what i mean guys though thanks for trying to help, the chameleon is a case with the lights that change its black with a cut out x shape, ive also used the whisper max and core v2 fans, so thanks anyways, and the case has a connecter that connects just like the whisper max and v2 core coolers would, so it would all connect the same but instead of connecting the core 2 coolers id just be connecting the case lights instead, if you know wat i mean
Yes I know the chameleon is a case, I don't think you will have a problem using them together. I was just stating that im using fans at 12V and I have had no problem, im am guessing that the LEDs for the case are getting hooked up to 5V.

yeah sorry bout that deadcell, i misunderstood ya, so what your saying is that your using the whisper max fans and the core v2 coolers, with the chameleon, but are getting the 12volt from psu instead of the dvd drive, thing is i will be using the dvd drive for everything, i know its suppose to be bad to, but the last 360 i had i used the v2 core coolers and the whisper max fans together but with a standard case, and they were fine for 2 years untill the 360 got rrod, but it was well used, plus i cant solder or dont have a soldering iron, so i have too, also i have a spare dvd drive if it does mess it up by using to much power from the drive, anyways cheers
