Hi all, new to the site, I mean real new... Like tonight new. So understandably I don't know much, anyways heres my problem.

I have a LaCie Rugged 500 gig external hard drive that won't read on my PS3, I have it formatted to MS-DOS(FAT32)

Whats the problem?

Any help would be appreciated

Won't read how? You press X and nothing shows up? The PS3 doesn't even see the drive? What?

The playstation doesn't even see the device at all, not there, yet it shows up with everything on my mac

i'm pretty i worked out the problem i was having, i had a password on my hard drive which i believe was stopping the ps3 from reading the hd
