I searched and found nothing about this.
Do some backup games not work properly with the wiimote? I just loaded up Smash Bros Brawl, and the controls are kinda funky and the pointer(hand) will not move at all

Is there a fix for this?

i am using configurable usb loader. menu 4.2u. softmodded.

Do you have a Gamecube Controller inserted into the Wii?

if so disconnect it and see if it works.

no, i do not have a game cube controller.
also, when I tried running sonic/mario olympic winter, the controller seemed to work, but in the menu screens, it "stuck" to the edges of the screen.

is this a setting in the usb launcher or bad files??

It is more then likely a senor issue. Make sure there are no mirrored objects around the sensor. You also might want to try adjusting the sensitivity of the senor bar in the Wii System Settings.

Also make sure your Wiimote is syncing when you play the game. if the Wiimote does not sync then its a sync issue with the Wiimote not a sensor issue.
