I was unable to add the answer to this post being a new member. I search for how to get rid of this error when opening either wxripper or wx360. This error has to do with a pop up message stating that an unhandled exception has occurred the user is then required to continue or quit. This error is cause by not having a dvd-rom installed. I found this out by trying to use the program on a fresh install pc. You can fix this error by installing daemon tools. The orginal thread was here
I have win 7 so it is auto installed. Its just a glitch in the code or perhaps... the coder wanted to let you know that your dvd drive wasn't being recognized.
I tried downloading all of the runtimes, java, vb, ms sdk...
The only thing that fixed it was plugging in my external dvd drive.
I however tested it with daemon tools and this also cured my problems....
As a side note I am receiving a new error with some of my back ups "array out of bounds" but only when extracting not ripping. I have hence for started to use xbox image browser for extraction purposes.

click extract
choose extract point
click ok or extract (can't remember)
