Hello again. I have read up, and I see that you guys are saying the kreon drives are not good anymore to rip games, and you all use the flashed benq. My problem is: My motherboard is old, and it is all EIDE. I am not really willing to buy a new motherboard to backup my games, and I dont have a laptop. My question is: can the kreon drives actually not read the new games, or are they just not good for stealthing the games so I have a better chance of getting banned? I will never take this 360 live so I dont care about that. Is there some sort of cable that can take a SATA drive and make it able to plug into an EIDE mobo? Is there perhaps a USB connector?
I guess the bottom line of my question is: can a kreon drive or hotswap method still be used to rip all games successfully to play on a 360 that is already banned, or one that will never go on live? Or is there any way to connect the benq drive to a EIDE mobo?
You could get a VIA 6241 card (it's PCI, I'm sure your old MB has a spare PCI slot) to run the BenQ in 0800 mode to rip SSV2 and be "safer" but if you're never going to connect to live, just get a Kreon drive. They'll backup every game successfully but it doesn't rip the new SS version 2.
It'll still play on any FW out now.
Since you're NOT going on live, I'd just use the 1.41Non-Stealth REV2 FW.
I proceeded to get banned within 3 weeks of getting the 360.
The only games I played online were newer ones and really it was only NHL10. I think i played GOW once or twice online but thats an oldie
Now I got 2 rrod not modded waiting for LT but im using 1 as a non modded for now.
I took the BENq from my banned and replaced with a hitachi and sold to my buddy who dosent go online.
right b4 XMAS i went a got sa new HDTV and got a PS# a well.....havent touched my 360s since
honestly thinking about selling them both.....
along with all the shit i have bought since spet for them....controllers, headset, play and chares kits
then on top of that i got another RROD and 3 ps3 ylod sitting on my dining room table.... lol one ps3 will work for sure buit the other i plans to sell the blu rays cuz ive tried each 2 times and couldnt get them to stop ylod'n pissed me off
