hello guys just wanna ask you something about this xeno top gear...it said the it can upgrade your xbox 360 without opening it...what does that mean? just for upgrades for your CFW? or you can flash/mod your OFW and change it to CFW? hope anyone can help me here...tnx in advance..

Well x-box scene news shows that you have to open the unit one time to install the hardware then after installation you can flash your 360 externally just like Xecuter's Blaster360.

one time installation and then voila you can use it for flashing and upgrading firmwares? like flashing ixtreme 1.61? and its compatible in any dvd drives? so do you prefer this one?? hehe ^_^

Lol - no i'm old skool and prefer taking it apart everytime and hearing that satisfying click when the casing closes after a successful flash :)

xeno top gear is for all lazy ones? hehe who doesnt want to open and bla bla bla with there xbox 360? and want easy money hehe ^_^...i can use it on multiple xbox 360 and earning cash fast isnt it? hehe ^_^.....coz here in the philippines only have one flasher and its in manila hehe ^_^visayas and here mindanao doesnt flash ^_^

No i don't think you understand the concept 100% this only allows you to modify the unit it's attached to. It can't mod any other 360 unless you take it off your 360 and attach it to the one you want to flash. There is no easy way to flash a 360 without taking it to pieces. sorry

i understand what your saying... what im saying is i can offer flashing xbox 360 using xeno top gear...coz its simple to use .. open xbox 360 install xeno flash it dont close it so that after flashing a customers xbox 360 you can remove it then close xbox 360 the owner pays you Bucks hehe ^_^.. am i right?? hehe ^_~

I suppose ?????? i've never used that type of hardware before so cannot say whether it is that easy??? lol i like your enthusiasm though and cornering a huge part of the philippines market lol .... nice 1

haha ^_^ im currently residing in zamboanga city philippines hehe ^_^...where you from? i really need money right now for my dogs food i've got 3 rottweilers and 1 gsp hehe ^_^ im just a comptech here and the wage is not like in middle east and usa so anything will do offering things to make money hehe ^_^ now if i can only buy that xeno hehe ill make a big income i guess hehe ^_^ tnx man

Looking at the instructions, it will not be easier to flash your drive and you still need all the other normal stuff also.
Would suggest you get a connectivity kit, that will allow you to flash xbox's faster (as you don't need to power the drive with the xbox)
But this Xeno Top Gear will make the process of flashing your drives easier.

so your suggesting me to get a connectivity kit...? but your also suggesting xeno top gear am i right? is connectivity kit like xeno?? lets put it this way for example... windows 98: connectivity kit -- windows xp: xeno top gear coz of plug and play hehe ^_^

No, dont get the Xeno Top Gear. It will not help you flash xbox's any faster. You will simply have more hardware to install, thus taking more time.
If you plan to flash xboxs in bulk, then get a connectivity kit.

no miketrev is just saying that the connectivity kit will make the process of modding multiple 360's easier. where as the xeno you have to remove the metal lining just to run the drive power and sata cables just for starters.

but in the description it says that its more reliable than other flashing tools at ease as they say.. coz you only have to open you xbox 360 once ^_^

^_^ hahaha this is what im gonna do with xeno...remove casing then remove dvd drive install wires for xeno then put back dvd drive then install xeno without closing the xbox 360 and without removing the white round rubber for removing the metal case...^_^ just think of it hehe ^_^

I used to say that Xecuter's Blaster 360 was useless and for lazy people. But I bought one for $17 off ebay.
Now that Kreons are no good for ripping Wave 4+ games, the Blaster 360 (which is on my son's Xbox 360) is what we use to rip games. On his box, the Blaster's switch is in normal mode or flashing mode. In nornal mode it plays backups like normal. In flashing mode, it switches to the external sata connector for flashing/ripping. No need to have a BenQ sitting outside of a case anymore.
That's at least one good use for the Xeno Top Gear & Xecuter's Blaster360.

It's not going to help you flash an xbox any faster as you have to have access to the dvd drive to install it. If you don't plan on closing the case this is just going to make even more work.
Also these so called sata re-route devices (top gear, blaster 360) are a load of sh!it for the price they cost. All they do is re-route the sata cable to the top of the xbox. The same thing can be done with a hacksaw, a sata port/hub (forgot the proper name) and a sata cable.
