Need some help burning 360 games

hey guys i got a problem i have a modded xbox 360 but for some reason some games work and some dont i used img burning n got one game to work im using clonecd and forza does anyone kno what i could be doing wrong or any program i might need i also used abgx360 and 360 wave patcher they both didnt work to well once i used either one i got a dvd thing on my xbox and not a game ?
any help would be awesome

in what way do the gams not work and what firmware are you running?
sounds like you either need to upgrade the firmware to 1.61 or you didn't do the 360 wavespatcher correctly.

i always thought to myself it was a give and take..
the new games use wave 4 and you need to upgrade to either 1.5 or 1.6x
depends if you go online or not with it (i dont)

why 1.5? that firmware doesn't read wave 4.

oh yes it does..(check out ixtreme or xbox-scene..its all there
1.5 reads it all but is not safe on xb live (if you care)
1.6x is for benq and especialy liteon
wave 4..read about it

i think you may be talking about 1.51 hitachi, that reads wave 4.
1.5 can't even read wave 3 lol.
1.51 was released as a quick fix for wave 3 games until 1.6 was finished.
1.6x is for benq, liteon and samsung.

i'm running 1.61 on live, and i have read up.
My box has had every version of iXtreme on it and i can tell you that when i was on 1.5 i needed to upgrade to 1.51 to play wave 3 games, then i went to 1.6, then i had to go to 1.61 to avoid that annoying boot disc with wave 4 games.

k then..i had to put someone on 1.5 with a liteon drive..they been good ever since..my other bro i did..he got the 1.6 and needed the activate.iso

i use clonecd/imgburn and have no issues except with liteon 1.6 (needs activate.iso)

dude 1.5 does all waves even 4..just aint stealth it wide open..thats when 1.6 came out...
i like 1.5 no need for activate.iso
i read too..i dont want a pissin match just trying to help

ok i've just posted 3 links showing 1.5 doesn't boot wave 3 let alone wave 4 and you still insist it does, lets just agree to disagree, i don't want a match either just correcting wrong information.

k..maybe i read some wrong things..maybe the games i play work for some other reason that are wave 4 on a 1.5...
whatever.. what was your original issue?

ive modded just about every drive there is.

when i put the game into the system it read it and put me to dvd mode on the xbox360 i have the newest firmware with i think is 1.61 and i check the game and the wave they were and both didnt work they were both wave four and i dont think it would be smart for me to change the wave on it

According to the double thread you made it's l4d2 and army of two 40th day, these bothe worl flawlessly on 1.61.
Are you positive it's 1.61?
Did you flash it yourself?
Have you tried using the activate.iso

Bite the bullet, change the wave to 3 and it will work. Just dont get on Live.

i had someone else do it for me and he told me that that the fireware he did it cuz i have the liteon drive & i couldnt figure out how to mod the xbox360
